Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 anonyme, elle exerce la majeure partie de ses activit\u00e9s en Afrique centrale.<\/p>\n<p>En 1911, elle obtient pour le Congo belge le privil\u00e8ge d&#8217;\u00e9mission qu&#8217;elle conservera plus de 40 ans. 1960: Le Congo devient un \u00e9tat souverain. La Banque du Congo Belge fait apport de ses activit\u00e9s europ\u00e9ennes \u00e0 la Banque Belgo-Congolaise constitu\u00e9e le 14 avril \u00e0 Bruxelles. Cette derni\u00e8re est connue depuis 1965 sous la d\u00e9nomination de Banque Belgolaise, actionnaire, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de l&#8217;Etat congolais et de partenaires priv\u00e9s, de la banque congolaise qui porte le nom de Banque Commerciale Du Congo.
